SCULPTURES

Drawings and sketches are everywhere in Bubacco’s studio. But they are not detail drawings or sketches that glass blowers formerly used as a template, but thoughts and impressions jotted down on paper. Frequently, Bubacco also draws in order to visualize future complicated work processes and to gain an understanding of what steps need to be taken to complete a work of art.
During a conversation with Bubacco, it becomes immediately clear that this man does not think in commercial terms. He loves what he does and his art is a part of himself. He loves to provoke, to play with dreams and fantasies and to probe the depths of his soul, which is one of the many reasons why he immediately touches the hearts of collectors from around the world.
